I like to think of myself as a scientist, an entrepreneur, an athlete, a musician, and a nerd. Those terms may contradict each other, but despite the efforts of myself and others, I have yet to discover a box to neatly encapsulate who I am. I constantly strive to test my physical and mental strength, expand my social and educational horizons, and have as much fun as I possibly can. I am a web developer by trade, but I find that building and customizing websites and web applications is only a small part of what I do.

Is OS X Lion The Future of Computing?

Apple announced this wednesday that they would be releasing a new version of their operating system, OS X 10.7 Lion, next summer. Along with this announcement they showed off a lot of new features that underscore a lot of fundamental changes to the way we will use computers in the future. Among them are the integration of the ever popular App Store, and a feature called Launchpad that allows users to browse and launch their apps much like an iPhone or an iPad.
